Vikash Maharaj is a founding member of People's Vigilence Committee on Human Rights, a non-profit organization that is working to provide basic rights to all and eliminate situations that gives rise to exploitation of vulnerable groups, i.e. children, women, dalits & the working class. PVCHR is a movement for a people-friendly society (Jan Mitra Samaj), a human-rights culture, democratic-values based society, which opposes feudalistic society and the anti-people practice of economic globalization through inter-institutional approach.
